Rustic Pizza Margherita

This is probably our favorite pizza... flavorful, colorful and healthy.  Although I'm sure our son will vouch for simple cheese pizza.

     

  

Here's the pizza right before it goes in the oven...

What's great about this pizza is you can make the dough and the pizza sauce ahead of time, like say... over the weekend.  Then on one of those busy weeknights, just put all the ingredients together, pop it in the oven and... Voila, a delicious pizza for the whole family to enjoy!

Have this with a salad with a simple oil and vinegar dressing and your family will have happy tummies.
